Inshore, my friend Steve Goethel landed a 30 inch redfish this morning at Bear Point casting live shrimp along the mangroves with a pinch weight. The inshore pompano fishing remains slow down in Stuart, but lots are getting caught up in Fort Pierce near the Inlet. Lots of pompano have also been caught on the flats along the West side of Round Island.Back in the South Fork near Palm City, some smaller reds and decent snook have been caught along the oyster beds and seawalls using DOA CAL jigs and Trigger X Jerk Baits. Outgoing tide has been best.
