Sebastian Inlet Report

12-07-12 FRIDAY: BLACK DRUM, SHEEPSHEAD, POMPANO, BLUES, REDS AND FLOUNDER

This morning winds are blowing out of the North-Northeast at 10 mph, but the water isn't as choppy as it has been while blowing from this direction, and that's good for everybody!

Tommy Turowski of the Sebastian Inlet Bait and Tackle Shop reported that the Black Drum bite was good yesterday, along with Sheepshead and Reds. Some nice Flounder were landed inside the inlet as well.

Our first photo features Luke LaMarre of Eau Gallie. Luke was fishing with his buddy, Michael Camilli last Friday night when he hooked up with this enormous Red that was 50", tail pinched. This big guy was landed on the outgoing tide.

Our next photo features Orlando angler Rob Moore who was fishing the south side , when he landed 4 and 5 lb. Flounders, he had one on the line that was 8 - 9 lbs. that broke off when his line got wrapped around his drag. He also landed a 16" Mangrove Snapper, 3 nice Flounder and the 12 lb. Tripletail. Our web site has existed for six years and this is the first shore-based Tripletail we've had sent in to the fishing report.
