From Native Tackle - Sebastian

INSHORE
The sheepshead bite has been red hot this past week.  Fish the docks using live shrimp.  The redfish bite near Wabasso has slowed but the trout bite was still going strong.  A lot of the trout have been on the smaller size but some reports came in with some really nice keepers. Try fishing the tips of the spoil islands for bigger trout.  Some reports of triple tail and grouper being caught as well.  Fish the channel markers for triple tail and troll the channel for grouper.  The pompanobite has been outstanding!  Fish near the inlet or try your luck by the Wabasso bridge. The jacks, well..... hitting anything.  For all you die hard snook anglers..... try fishing the docks late afternoon/evening and you might come up with a slot!
INLET
Black drum, pompano, sheepshead, reds, flounder, blues and jacks have been the bite of the week.  A lot of anglers have had luck on the South side for thepompano.  Fish the morning incoming tide for better results when fishing for black drum.  Only a couple days left for a keeper snook..... and it has been slow for anglers targeting them lately.
SURF
Blues, pompano, tarpon and some snook have been the bite on the beach.  Always good to fish with Doc's goofy jigs when targeting pompano and the blueshave been hitting most anything.
