From Henry@ Snook-Nook - Jensen Beach

I know I should get use to these cool mornings, it is almost Thanksgiving,
did I mention the wind? Seas have been a little sporty and yes we have had a little wind but it is still
pretty nice and the fish do not seem to mind. Lots of Spanish Mac’s in the river and the surf along with Blues, Pompano, Croaker and a few others. River anglers are trying to stay out of the wind with plenty of Reds and Trout to keep busy with,Blues, Jacks and Ribbon fish are chewing anything that moves, so I guess I will adjust Surf anglers have had an unusual week, Pompano, Blues and Mac’s were on the list but the times were a little different. It would seem they forgot to set their clocks, late morning has been the bite time.  Yes the fish are there
early but the numbers have been later in the morning to mid afternoon. Pompano bite has started from Vero to the St. Lucie Inlet, nice numbers and nice size, sorry to say the Hobe Sound area has been the home of the shorts, maybe this week they will get a few bigger fish in that area. Blues have been a good target with Mac’s a close second, spoons and cut baits for these two. Big Croaker and
some Whiting form noon on, they like me like it warm.
Wind has kept river anglers moving looking for flat sheltered water. Makes no difference plenty of Reds with that mix of Trout to keep busy. Suspending baits prefered, something that Red can get on top of, yes you can catch them on top water but I can’t. Have had reports from Bear Point south to Boy scout island, lots of nice Red in the top of the slot, best part is the cool water, any time is a good time. Most Trout from mid morning and the Blues and Jacks don’t care what time they are there just waiting. Some Pomp’s from the bridges
not enough to say when but Big Mac’s and Big Ribbon fish to keep you on your toes.
It has been a long time since we have had this many Ribbon Fish in the
river, these fish have serious teeth so be careful, they will strike any
thing.
