From Henry@ Snook-Nook - Jensen Beach

Yes it is November, yes the wind is here and yes the temps are a little cooler but it is November time to give the air system some shut down time. North wind will blow, not any different than last November, we just get use to perfect weather and a little breeze tends to make us think twice about our fishing habits.  Surf anglers time to get out the surf rods, one needs the ability to cast over the white water, we are looking to fish the water that is not as turbid as that edge. Three ounces of lead will keep you where you want to be or that two ounce spoon will just be your first pick, north wind remember how you fished it last year. Blue fish will be you first target on spoons or cut baits, next it will be Pompano using clams or sand fleas and if Whiting is your target wait for lunch time when the surfs warms, they are all here. Now we just have to remember how we did this last year.  River anglers it has been Reds and Trout, look for the flat water that is where you want to be. Shrimp will get them but a suspending bait, small spoon or a soft rubber bait will get as many.   Now I am not saying there are no fish on the side that is rolling but it is more confortable on the flat side and you know me I like it confortable. Had excellent reports form Bear Point south, mid morning
it seems have seen the most action. Big Blues and Macs in the mix, a few Flounder were on the catch list and yes a few Snook. Then there are the bridges, the one hot spot with a catch list to long to copy, every thing from Drum to Mac’s with a good bite of big Pompano. Pompano have been in and out but it seems they are spend a little more time at the bridge, lots of those Jigging Spoons are going out the door, yellow with a pink teaser or pink have been the colors.
