From Whites Tackle - Ft Pierce
The inshore fishing has been good with a lot of snook moving onto the flats with the mullet schools to the north of north bridge – live mullet and DOA cals have been the best bet. There have been some redfish to the north around the bait schools and a few trout in about 3ft to 5ft - the mangrove snapper are around the channel edges with live shrimp. South in the river there were some nice trout reported in the mullet schools with a few tarpon mixed in. The inlet and beach fishing has slowed down a little but hopefully it will pick up this weekend with the northeast wind.
