From Native Tackle - Sebastian

Inlet fishing

INSHORE
The pompano bite has been outstanding back in the Sebastian River.  North fork just passed the railroad bridge.  Anglers are seeing lots of tarpon back there as well but they are not feeding on anything the anglers are throwing at them.  Lady fish have been everywhere in the river.  Whitingand sheepshead have been plentiful around the docks.  The mutton and mangrove snapper bite has remained steady as well.  Trout and reds in the flats but fish early morning or late afternoon for the best results!
INLET
Oversized reds, snook, mutton, mangrove and lane snapper, jacks, blues and blackdrum.
SURF
Lady fish, whiting and some anglers have had some luck with pompano.  Lots and lots of bait pods!
