Well I was concerned  that last week storm was the last of the bait schools on the beach, how wrong I was.  It seems it is more, now we have big schools of big mullet,  lots of bait for the fish to forage. Tarpon, Snook, Blues, Mac’s and plenty of

Jacks not to over look some of the biggest Whiting and Croakers, to many fish to keep up with. Shrimp,cut baits, spoons, top water,flies, if you can cast it there is a fish for it.  As I said last week the bite is all day depending on the target but any time you have this many Jacks, the answer is bring more bait.  Early if it is Tarpon, Snook or Jacks, Blues, Mack’s and Jack’s early afternoon and the Lady Fish, Whiting, Croakers are there all day with location subject to change at their will, oh yes more Jack’s.  If you just want to bend a rod the Surf is the location lots of fish so not being sure how long this bait will be with us, now is the time, come 

on down. 

  

River anglers have found plenty of Reds and some Trout just north of the Jensen area on the west side, from Nettles Island north on the east side at all the usual spots but what ever side you have to fish early, from dark to two hours into sun up.
Warm water, will slow the fish down early is the coolest part of the day. Throw top water in two feet of depth, slow that retrieve and a little noise in your bait will add to it.  Snook is open, pick a bridge after sun down with tidal movement keeping in mind the fish will feed into the current.  Pitch a Flair Hawk, a deep running lure, DOA TerrorEyz a bait that you can feel it hit the bottom and work it back slowly. Fish the light lines and please the slot is TWENTY EIGHT/THIRTY TWO inches overall length.  So enough reading go catch a fish.
