From Henery @ Snook-Nook Jensen Beach

Weather has been the perfect but the west wind the past few days has pushed the bait off the shore line, yes you can see the fish, problem is casting to them. Just a little out of range but still a sight. These next few day the wind will change and
they will be back but for how long not sure. If you have not been to the surf you need to come on down, Tarpon, Snook, Bonita, Spanish Mac’s, small Cobia the list is long but again for how long. Every summer when the Bait shows so does every species
you would want, some seasons they are here longer than others but as they came they will leave, now is the time. Casting any thing that has a flash about it but it has to be small in profile, that is the key, match the hatch. Interesting story about a young man
that hooked a Tarpon every bit his size, fought the fish for what seemed to be an hour, landed the fish, then he a three of his friends spent the next half hour in the surf to revive the fish, young man your efforts did not go unnoticed and my self and several other
anglers that were there were impressed and thank you for the respect you showed that fish, nice to see that respect. This week you may have to drive to four not three access points but the fish are still with us so as I said earlier, come on down.
In side it has been plenty of Trout and Red Fish but you have to fish early, from dark to about one hour after sun up is the bite time using top water in two feet of water. Both north and south of the Jensen Causeway excellent reports but once that sun comes
out the fish go to deeper water. Tarpon and Snook in the Inlet, at the bridges, North Fork and south but you have to look around and see what is there for them to eat then match the profile and yes it will change form location to location, Tarpon do not mind the sun
but will stay in the deeper water and the Snook they will be deep. Snook the season is closed and Tarpon you can not take so be extra carful when handling them.
