Sebastian Inlet Report

07-16-12 MONDAY: SNOOK, MANGROVE SNAPPER, JACKS, PERMIT AND REDS

We have overcast skies at the inlet this morning keeping the heat down. Winds are blowing out of the South-Southeast at 5 mph and the water is calm. There is a small swell for the surfers today and we have a few in the water taking advantage of the conditions. As always, please use caution when casting off the north side of the north jetty when surfers are present.

Tommy Turowski of the Sebastian Inlet Bait and Tackle Shop reported anglers were landing some oversized Reds off the north jetty this morning.

We received an update from Justin Foster of Satellite Beach.  that Snook fishing off the beach has picked up, he landed and released a few nice ones in the morning  Our first photo today is of Matt who also was fishing the beach and caught this nice snook on a DOA Shrimp.......
