Sebastian Inlet Report

07-10-12 TUESDAY...FISHING IS SLOW 

This morning winds are blowing out of the South-Southeast at 5 mph and the water is calm. A walk out onto the north jetty for about an hour this morning was warm and beautiful, but no fish were biting. Early in the morning hours, Dave Lectric of Sebastian hooked up with about 15 C/R Snook, landing about half of them. Luis Segunda of Palm Bay also landed a C/R Snook earlier this morning. Other than the Snook, not much else was happening on the outgoing tide. Hopefully things will change with the incoming. 

Mike Ricciardi fished the north jetty yesterday from 6:30 - noon and reported a couple of small but keeper Margate, a few Snapper but most were shorts, and a good sized Flounder spit the hook just as it was being netted. No greenies were in the water, so no Mackerel either.

Inlet regular "Jamaican John" landed this big Permit in our other photo using  blue crabs.
