Sebastian Inlet Report

06-18-12 MONDAY: SPANISH MACKEREL, MANGROVE SNAPPER, JACKS, REDS, SNOOK, TARPON AND SEA TROUT

Winds are blowing out of the East-Southeast at 8 mph this morning and there is a moderate chop on the water.

We had a beautiful weekend although fishing was on the slow side. A variety of species came over the rails of the jetties but nothing was running in big numbers. Some big Reds were landed on poppers on the outgoing tides, Snook and Tarpon were hitting at night. A few Mangrove Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, Jacks, Sheepshead and Sea Trout made appearances.

Our first photo today features Ashton Campbell of St. Cloud. Ashton was fishing with his father when he landed this good sized Spanish Mackerel using a greenie.
Photo two features an unidentified angler who was fishing the Tide Pool a good Flounder spot at times.
