06-04-12 MONDAY: FISHING IS ON THE SLOW SIDE
It's a beautiful morning at the inlet. Winds are blowing out of the West-Northwest at 7 mph and the water is calm.
Over the weekend, we had a variety of fish landed, but in small numbers. We had some Spanish Mackerel, Mangrove Snapper, Blues, Permit, Pompano and a few Sea Trout and Flounder on the flats.
Our angler of the day is Allan Marath of Palm Bay with a nice sized Permit he landed off the north jetty on using live shrimp. Allan was one of the luckier ones, as fishing was on the slow side.
