Inshore, reports of some good snook action at the Taylor Creek spillway have leaked out and the usual summer time rains have been spilling over at "the creek". Snook and tarpon are active in the inlet and around the bridges and can be taken on live bait and jigs. Trout fishing remains consistent and are taking live shrimp and soft plastics all around the lagoon. Mangrove snapper are populating the channel edges and will take live shrimp and small baitfish.
