From Native Tackle - Sebastian

INSHORE
Trout bite has been red hot around the Wabasso area still!  Use DOA jig heads and attach a DOA CAL (darker colors work the best, such as root beer)if you are an artificial angler.  If you are a live bait guy/girl, use live shrimp. Now that Snook season is over, the bite is going to be red hot.  Fish around the docks, bridges, and structure. Live bait, such as pinfish or shrimp work the best, but hard baits have proven to work as well! Now that it's summertime the redfish are going to be in deeper waters since the water temps are warmer.
INLET
Spanish mackerel, mangrove snapper, spottail pinfish, jacks, snook and reds have been the bite of the week.  It has been great weather and the bite has been even better.  If you want flounder, fish the North jetty, reports of some nice size ones coming over the rails.

Surf
Good reports of whiting, tarpon and shark!  Lately, there has been lots of mullet and croakers running in the surf.  Anglers targeting pompano have had the best luck with a pompano rig or Doc's goofy jigs tipped with clams or shrimp.
