From Native Tackle - Sebastian

INSHORE
Trout bite has been really good around the Wabasso area! One of the regulars said he has been catching them up to 5-7lbs! Use DOA jig heads (1/4-1/8oz depending on the wind) and attach a DOA CAL (darker colors work the best, such as root beer). Snook are still being caught around the docks, bridges, and structure inshore. Live bait, such as pinfish or shrimp work the best, but hard baits have proven to work as well!
INLET
In the inlet, snook bite has been hot!! This past weekend, a 42.5inch snook was caught and released! Fish bucktails or pinfish for the best of luck! Several reports that sheepshead have been feeding on the bottom on live shrimp. Spanish Mackrel continue to be showing up in the inlet, use a silver spoon for the best results! Other reports, jack, pompano, black drum and ladyfish have been biting in the inlet!
 Surf
Spanish Mackrel have been feeding on silver spoons. Some whiting are being caught on shrimp. A lot of sharks are being caught at night and lately that has been bringing the Cobia in closer!
