06-15-12 FRIDAY: SPANISH MACKEREL, SHEEPSHED, JACKS, MANGROVE SNAPPER, SNOOK AND SEA TROUT
This morning winds are blowing out of the Northeast at 12 mph and there is a light chop on the water. This morning around 8:00 - 8:30 there was a flurry of Spanish Mackerel activity off the north jetty, with some real nice ones coming over the rails. A couple of Sheepshead and a couple of Mangrove Snapper were landed as well. One large Jack was landed on a silver spoon; just about everything else was landed on greenies.

Our first photo is from the north jetty  of John Mitchell of Melbourne. This nice Permit was 23" to the fork and between 10 - 15 lbs. It was definitely the highlight of the morning!
Photo two is of Anh Nguyen of Vero Beach with a real nice Sea Trout he landed off the south jetty rocks. Anh was fishing with two friends and they had real good luck with a couple nice Sea Trout, a 40" C/R Red, and multiple C/R Snook, using mojarra.

Photo three is of Anh Nguyen with a Snook   before it was gently released.
