INSHORE
Snook, redfish and trout have been feeding on live shrimp or plastic baits in the flats. We recommend to try the Yo-Zuri 3D minnow 70. Spoil islands and Wabasso Bridge are holding some nice size trout! In the channel, tripple tail have been feeding on live shrimp near channel markers, and grouper continue you to feed on the channel ledges. On windy days, many anglers are heading north into the sebastian river and are having fun catching tarpon and flounder!
INLET
Snook are still being caught in the inlet, but the bite is starting to slow down. Some redfish are being caught at night and early morning. A lot of bait fish are being spotted, and following these bait fish are said to be jack, spanish mackerel and permit. Grouper are being caught on the ledges on the north side of the channel.
Surf
Whiting are being caught right off the beach using live shirmp!! Some pompano are being caught using doc's goofy jigs. Also some mackrel and blue fish are being landed using silver spoons or shrimp!
