From Capt Joe Ward @ The Bait Shack - Ft. Pierce

INSHORE - Look for the summer patterns to get in full swing and this means that you will need to fish early in the morning and just before dark. There should be some big trout, redfish and catch and release snook around since we didn't have much winter weather. Try the flats around the Moorings for all three fish and also keep and eye out for a tarpon or two. Live baits like a pilchard, mullet or a pigfish will be hard to beat. If you like artificial bait then you will need to try a Zara Spook or a Top Dog Jr. in the natural color. Down to the south you will want to try the channel markers along the channel edges for a tripletail Use a live shrimp and a jig head. The snapper bite along the channel edges should also be good starting around the full moon. The baits of choice will be live shrimp, mojarra or a small pinfish.
