04-11-12 WEDNESDAY: SLOW BITE
This morning winds are blowing out of the West-Northwest at 8 mph, the water is clean and calm and it's beautiful!
We've seen some real pretty weather the past few days but fishing has been slow. The Ladyfish, Blues and Jacks were abundant. Yesterday, there wasn't much action off the north jetty. Tony Swiderski of Sebastian landed a 36" C/R Snook in the early morning hours and a short Snook was landed and released in the late morning, other than that it was Spots. A trio of anglers were doing very well with those about mid way down the jetty using shrimp, but everybody else was just enjoying the beautiful day and hoping for a bite. A lot of boats were fishing south of the inlet near shore yesterday, so something must have been biting, perhaps Pompano in the surf?
