04-03-12 TUESDAY: SLOW BITE....
We have another beautiful morning at the inlet. Winds are blowing out of the West-Northwest at 5 mph and the water is clean and calm.
We received an update from Rich Blum of Vero Beach who fished the north jetty and reported a slow bite. Not many quality fish were landed and kept. A few Snook came over the rails but none were in the slot and were returned to the water. Rich was getting ready to pack it in for the day when he got a hit. Everybody thought he had a Ray that went under the rocks but after a struggle, a Black Drum freed itself which Rich was able to land and it became the lottery fish of the morning!
