04-05-12 THURSDAY: SHEEPSHEAD, SNOOK, ATLANTIC SPADEFISH, REDS, JACKS AND POMPANO
This morning winds are blowing out of the West-Southwest at 4 mph and there is a light chop on the water. We have a chance of rain as the day progresses, skies are overcast at the inlet this morning.
Fishing has been inconsistent on the north jetty but offshore and surf fishing has been pretty good. This morning anglers are landing Snook, Sheepshead and Spadefish off the north jetty according to Walton Ray at the Inlet Bait and Tackle Shop.
Our first photo today features Sheila Santiago of Orlando. Sheila landed this beautiful 27", 20 lb Redfish off the south jetty using live shrimp.
Our other photo features another of our snow birds, Hank Christianson of Idaho. Hank was using dead shrimp to land this real nice Black Drum.
