Sebastian Inlet Report
03-23-12 FRIDAY: POMPANO, BLACK DRUM, SHEEPSHEAD, WHITING AND JACKS
Winds have died down a little today. This morning it's blowing out of the South at 8 -10 mph and there is a moderate chop on the water. There are no small craft advisories this morning, but always check the coastal forecast prior to going offshore.
In honor of Spring Break, today we are featuring young people who have been fishing the inlet this week. They've been real troopers, even when it's been slow! Our first four photos are students who have been enjoying their breaks at the inlet.
Our first photo today features Andree Dumitrescu of the Orlando area who landed this nice Black Drum off the north jetty.
Photo two features 13 year old Angel Thomas of Altamonte Springs who was fishing the north jetty when he landed this big Black Drum using live shrimp.
Photo three is John Shaffer of Orange City with two nice Black Drum he landed.
Our last photo today is of Maribel Irizarry of Kissimmee with a beautiful 8.5 lb doormat she landed off the south jetty.
