Sebastian Inlet Report

03-14-12 WEDNESDAY: SHEEPSHEAD, BLACK DRUM, SNOOK, REDS, POMPANO, SEA TROUT, JACKS AND BLUES

It's a beautiful morning at the inlet. Winds are blowing out of the North-Northeast at 6 mph and there is a moderate chop on the water.

Sheepshead have been the main attraction at the inlet but there have been a variety of other species in play, just in smaller numbers. Black Drum, Sea Trout, Flounder, Reds, Snook, Pompano, Blues and Jacks round out the mixed bag. Live shrimp remains the bait of choice.

Our first photo today features Betty  (L) and Marilyn  (R) of Kissimmee. The women were using clams on to land Betty's nice Pompano and Marilyn's good sized Sheepshead.
