From Whites Tackle- Ft. Pierce

Inshore, reports of some good trout fishing are coming in the shop from all over the lagoon. Top water lures, soft plastics, and live shrimp will get you good results. Snook fishing in the inlet over the last few days has been good on red tail hawk type jigs. The trick to fishing those jigs is to keep them as close to the bottom with out hanging them up on a rock. Snapper fishing from the cat walk of the south bridge has been good on live shrimp. There have been a few reports of redfish scattered across the lagoon. This is good time of year to pull out your fly rod and cast to the redfish, trout and snook that are cruising the flats. We have an excellent stock of flies and fly tying materials for you to choose from.
