From Whites Tackle- Ft. Pierce

Inshore, one angler early this morning reported a good catch of mangrove snapper off the catwalk on live shrimp. Trout fishing in the lagoon remains strong in out of the weather areas. Live shrimp and soft plastics have been producing good catches of trout all week long. Remember this is the best time of the year for gator size trout on the flats using top water lures early in the morning, usually around the docks or in skinny water. Surf fishing has been a little difficult with all the in your face wind. Conditions in the surf have included stirred up grass and rough and dirty seas.
