Sebastian Inlet Report
02-13-12 MONDAY: SNOOK, BLACK DRUM, REDS, SHEEPSHEAD AND FLOUNDER
It's a beautiful morning at the inlet. It's cool but we have bright blue skies and very little chance of rain. Over the weekend, we didn't see a whole lot of action due to the weather. Not that many people wanted to get out and brave the cold, especially yesterday!
The Snook have been cooperating since opening day and Friday was no exception. We received an update from inlet regular Mike who was on the north jetty Friday morning and reported a good Snook bite. The early morning hours weren't very productive and the bite came on strong around 8:30 - 9:00. Mike counted 6 - 8 slot Snook and at least that many were over, under or never made it over the rails. Live shrimp is the bait of choice.
Photo one is of Mike with his prize, a 29.5" Snook landed with a medium sized shrimp.
Our second photo is of Shawn with a nice slot sized Snook he landed morning.
