Inshore, trout fishing in the lagoon remains consistent on the edges of the flats. Anglers have been producing good results on artificial shrimp, made by Berkley Gulp And DOA. Live shrimp have also produced some good fishing in the turning basin and around the bridges. The south side of the inlet have shown anglers some decent snook fishing over the last few nights. 2 ounce red tail hawk type jigs have been working well there and on the south jetty.
