From: Native Tackle Supply - Sebastian

Some nice Trout and Reds have been reported around the spoil islands as well as Round Island in Vero. Fish the NE side of Round Island for best results.  Our suggestion for Trout is to use DOA, Gulp, or Live Shrimp. Pompano have been scattered, and have been found near the Wabasso bridge and near spoil islands as well. Our suggestion for Pompano, is as always, Doc's Goofy Jigs. Jig it by naked or add some clam for better luck.  Some Snook action around docks and bridges have been reported. For the best luck, use live pinfish, pig fish or select shrimp.

INLET
Still the highlight of the week at the inlet is Flounder! Fishing incoming tide, on the south pier, throwing off the south side, will provide the best luck for catching these Doormats!! Mud minnows have been the most popular, but live shrimp works well. Use a sliding 20z weight, swivel, 10inch liter, and a nice hook!! Some nice Sheepshead are being reported, as well as some Black Drum. Use live shrimp around structures, be sure to fish the bottom!! Nice Snook are being caught over the rails, and on boats! Night time/early morning is the best, but fish any of the tides that coincide with when you are able to get out!! Of course, we suggest drifting pin fish on a boat, or throwing some nice live shrimp or pinfish over the rails!! Remember that slack tide is an additional 2.5-3 hours on to the tides supplied above, which is when we recommend to fish!

SURF
Reports indicate that Pompano have been scattered, but use Doc's Goofy Jigs; popular colors include: pink, orange, and yellow!! Whiting, Sheepshead, and Black Drum have been reported on the beach. Use live shrimp, or frozen clams!!
