01-23-12 MONDAY: SEA TROUT, BLACK DRUM, SHEEPSHEAD, FLOUNDER, BLUES AND REDS We have a real pretty day ahead of us. Winds are blowing out of the South at 9 mph and there is a light chop on the water. Over the weekend we had a smattering of Black Drum, Sheepshead, Blues, Pompano and Flounder. Big Reds are still biting well in the evening hours. Sea Trout have been hitting well on the inside and big Shrimp have been running on the outgoing. Our first photo today is of Rob who fished the south side of the inlety landed 13 Flounder over two days using finger mullet. These two doormats weighed 8.5 lbs and 10 lbs! |
