01-04-12 WEDNESDAY: BLACK DRUM, REDS, SHEEPSHEAD AND JACKS Temperatures are still in the 40's this morning but we expect to see it rise into the low 60's today, a lot better than yesterday! The winds have calmed down quite a bit as well. This morning winds are blowing out of the North-Northwest at 8 mph and the water is calm. We didn't have many anglers out on the jetties yesterday but we received an update from Benjie who reported a few die-hard anglers battling the cold with their waders and multiple layers of clothing on the north jetty yesterday. Those who had the guts to go out landed Black Drum, C/R Reds, Jacks and Sheepshead. |
