Inshore, the trout fishing has been good in the south part of St. Lucie county. Spanish mackerel and pompano have shown on the beach and the Ft. Pierce inlet. The fishing for redfish in the northern part of the county has remained strong. Anglers have been tossing copper colored spoons and soft plastics for those redfish with good results.
