11-16-11 WEDNESDAY: BLACK DRUM, SNOOK, SHEEPSHEAD AND POMPANO Winds are blowing out of the West-Southwest this morning at 3 mph and there is a moderate chop on the water. The bite slowed yesterday according to Mike. Mike was on the north jetty yesterday morning and said only 4 - 5 Black Drum were landed. The Drum coming out of the river are almost black in color. Two or three keeper sized Pompano came over the rails only and a few Snook one was a beautiful keeper. Mike heard that three or four Snook were caught on the outgoing afternoon tide. |
