From White's Tackle - Ft Pierce

In shore, fishing has been good in the lagoon and with the rain the snook have become more active. Anglers are producing good catch and release action at most of the area's spillways. Taylor Creek spillway is one of the more popular spillways in the summer months. DOA Terroreyz and top water lures will get you good results there. Trout fishing north in the lagoon has been good the last couple of days, DOA Cal Minnows have been working best. Snook fishing from the south jetty at Ft. Pierce has been good the last few nights. Live shrimp with a troll rite hook have produced good catches there. Mangrove snapper fishing along the channel edges is starting to heat up a bit and live shrimp will get you good results.
